Description:
Well maintained and sunny vineyard located on the Miño riverside in the south of the Lugo province. This pretty vineyard in the Ribeira Sacra region includes two stone wine cellars with potential for conversion into living space. The location is very peaceful near the Miño River, surrounded by other typically terraced vineyards and not far away from a beautiful Romanesque church. The access is good through a country lane. Views are spectacular overlooking the river with its terraced vineyards. At approx. 10 minutes by car you will find all necessary amenities in the main villages of Escairon and Chantada.
Measurements: 3.900 m² able to produce approx, 3.600 Kg. of grapes (this means approx. 2.200 l. of wine).
Location:
The area near the Miño River has a pleasant and mild microclimate. The many vineyards in this area are producing excellent wines, mostly made with Mencia (red) grapes. A good example of a quality wine producer is Adegas Moure, located at a few Km. from this vineyard and famous for its prize wining “Abadia da Cova” wine made with Mencia grapes. At approx. 10 minutes away by car you can find the main village of Chantada. This is a pleasant small town with a charming old quarter and all necessary amenities, such as supermarkets, all kind of shops, nice bars and restaurants, schools, a medical centre, etc.

- Vigo: Approx. 1 hour and 40 minutes by car.
